Santa Catarina é premiada por qualidade e gestão ambiental de 21 praias e marinas

Programa Bandeira Azul reconheceu 40 locais do Brasil pela qualidade da água, gestão ambiental, educação ambiental e segurança.
Santa Catarina tem 18 praias e três marinas premiadas com a Bandeira Azul para a temporada de verão 2022/2023. Segundo o Ministério do Turismo, o programa é “a maior premiação global dedicada à gestão de praias, marinas e embarcações de turismo”.
A premiação desafia as autoridades locais e os gestores de praia a alcançarem altos padrões de qualidade em quatro temas: qualidade da água, gestão ambiental, educação ambiental e segurança.
No total, 40 locais do Brasil serão certificados com a Bandeira Azul em novembro, no início da temporada de verão no hemisfério sul, em evento presencial na cidade de Niterói, no Rio de Janeiro.
A coordenação nacional deve premiar também as atividades de destaque em educação ambiental articuladas pelos gestores desses espaços, que é um dos critérios estabelecidos para garantir a certificação.
